Japanese Fried Chicken (Karaage)
This might be my favorite form of fried chicken so far. The texture of it is almost effervescent. The combination of the marinade and the sauce is just absolutely magical. Give this one a try!
Crunchy Tacos
Whether you call these crunchy tacos, mom tacos, or gringo tacos, they hit the spot in a very special way. These are insanely crunchy and way better than buying pre-fried crunchy taco shells and pre-made taco seasoning. Try this one out for your next Taco Tuesday.
Tavern Style Chicago Thin Crust Pizza
Deep dish pizza is out, Chicago thin crust pizza is in! Since I live in St. Louis now, the only thin crust pizza I can really get is covered in proven and usually underwhelming. This recipe fills that void and reminds me of home!
Green Goddess Egg Salad
A fun take on egg salad is this green goddess avocado egg salad. Its bright green color is fun and it tastes amazing. You are gonna want this one on a good croissant.
Classic American Deli-Style Egg Salad

Japanese Tamago Egg Salad

Tavern Style Chicago Thin Crust Pizza
The best pizza, in my opinion, is Chicago thin crust pizza. This pizza blows anything else out of the water and i’m not just saying that because I am from Chicago. I felt this recipe needed to be revisited and I am so glad I did it because I came out with a product that was 1000x better than my last Chicago thin crust recipe.
Crockpot Italian Beef
I found a great way to make (and more importantly EAT) Italian beef with less than half the effort as your traditional Italian beef. This sandwich is so nostalgic for me and brings me back to being a teenager in Chicagoland again.
Carrot Cake

5 Ingredient Mexican: Slow Cooker Al Pastor
This Al Pastor is far from authentic but it is very satisfying and a close second to the traditional dish. It’s great for when you want to just throw the meat in the slow cooker, go to work and hav dinner 90% done when you get home. I use a sauté pan to get color on the pineapple, combine it with the pork and marry the two with the cooking liquid and magic happens.
5 Ingredient Mexican: Enchiladas
I used rotisserie chicken and a very simple sauce to make these 5 ingredient enchiladas. They came out so good and they’re so easy to make.
