Crockpot Italian Beef
I found a great way to make (and more importantly EAT) Italian beef with less than half the effort as your traditional Italian beef. This sandwich is so nostalgic for me and brings me back to being a teenager in Chicagoland again.
Carrot Cake
In my opinion, I think carrot cake is BETTER than chocolate cake. I know that’s sacrilegious but give it a try, see for yourself. In this video I show you how to not only make the perfect, moist carrot cake, but I show you how to frost it properly as well.

5 Ingredient Mexican: Slow Cooker Al Pastor
This Al Pastor is far from authentic but it is very satisfying and a close second to the traditional dish. It’s great for when you want to just throw the meat in the slow cooker, go to work and hav dinner 90% done when you get home. I use a sauté pan to get color on the pineapple, combine it with the pork and marry the two with the cooking liquid and magic happens.
5 Ingredient Mexican: Enchiladas
I used rotisserie chicken and a very simple sauce to make these 5 ingredient enchiladas. They came out so good and they’re so easy to make.

5 Ingredient Mexican: Tostada
Lorn and I used to be on a very tight budget. We ate Tostadas at least 3 times a week. This is an even more somplified version of what we used to eat and it tastes just as good. This is great for people who need sustenance, are on a budget and don’t have a whole lot of time.
Basque Cheesecake
My favorite thing I had in Spain was this cheesecake. It is SO creamy and complex in flavor, yet so simple in procedure. Beating this recipe in 2024 will be a challenge for sure.

A Lobster Bisque that is very easily made by the home cook. No blending lobster bodies in a blender to get all the flavor out of them. I figured out a way to extract all the flavor of lobster bodies without gong through the hassle that is usually associated with it.
